broccoli mushroom abalone recipe

Ingredients
- 4 fresh abalones cleaned and tenderized
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1- inch piece ginger finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for cooking
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a braising pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped ginger, sauté until fragrant.
- Carefully place the tenderized abalones in the pan, searing each side for about 2 minutes until lightly browned.
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil to the pan, stirring gently to coat the abalones.
- Pour in the broth, bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and let it braise for 25-30 minutes until the abalones are tender.
- In a separate pot, blanch broccoli in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until it turns bright green. Drain and set aside.
- Arrange the braised abalones and blanched broccoli on a serving plate. Season with salt and pepper if needed.
